Inspiration Board Challenge: March 2013

Ed’s note: I am terribly, terribly sorry for the delay of this inspiration board. I have been very sick the last week and while this was meant to be posted on the weekend, I could not get out of bed to create it. So we’re doing something a little different this month.

March's Inspiration Board Challenge

Full Credits: Jill Wheeler of Scrap FX created the sketch for SC104, Ellen Harvey took the photograph in Hastings UK.

Let’s talk winners. The winner for the February board, and the lucky recipient of Seriously Scrapbooking’s prize pack is…

Joann – Castlepark Designs

Congratulations Joann! Check out her OTP at her blog here. (Joann, please email me your address so we can get your prize out to you. My email is: scrap.editor [at]

This month’s sponsor is A Piece of Cake Designs. They have offered up the cupcake kit (see below) for ONE lucky participant.

All you have to do is:

  • create a project
  • post it to your blog (with a link back to this challenge here)
  • come back here and comment with your blog post link. (Not your blog link, the actual blog post where the project is.)

This challenge is open until the end of the month (11:59pm, 31 March 2014, Australian Eastern Standard Time–not Daylight Savings time).

Inspiration this month comes from our AMAZING sketch team (and you’ll be able to see their layouts up-close-and-personal in the April issue of our mag).

Layouts (l-r): Rachael Funnell, Natalie May, Anne Patterson, Leonie Neal-Dawson.

Introducing the Sketch & Colour teams!

It’s been a long time coming, but now that we’re a week out from our first issue of 2014, let’s talk about our DESIGN TEAMS. (Maybe you’ve guessed a couple too, depending on how closely you looked at the mag sample…)

These ladies are just standouts. Amazingly creative people with no idea how good they are. They are always creating and even though you’ll see them in the mag, and occassionally on the blog, I can not recommend it enough: check out their blogs and add the links to your favourites! You’ll always find inspiration from these women–I know I do! (The rest of our design teams can be found on the linked page.)

P.S. I apologise to the girls that this announcement post is so late! They’ve all announced it on their blogs. Sadly, internet in Sweden over the New Year break was not as accessible as expected. (Not that I’d complain about being in Sweden, no, not at all.) =P
