The Make Pretty Stuff tour wrap up (from Adelaide)

HS_previewThe Make Pretty Stuff tour hit Adelaide on Monday (11 Nov) and I had the pleasure of spending a couple of days with the incredibly talented Heidi Swapp and Kim Jeffress. I picked the girls up from the airport mid-afternoon Sunday and gave them a quick tour of beautiful Glenelg, slipped in a quick Hot Chocolate and a chat and then dropped them with their host Jane Tregenza.

Monday morning …. the line started at 8am with some super eager ladies lined up and ready to go! The day went so well – Adelaide had a group of 66 ladies in total and I think each and every one had an incredible day.

Heidi’s first class was the highlight for me – working with Color Shine and resist papers.

My messy work space!

Heidi was very generous with her time and explaining the project and steps very clearly… made it even easier to fall in love with these fun techniques

Kim’s class was using the super awesome Believe Memory File and we created some great pages ready to start recording our Christmas memories. There was just so much product in this kit – actually in ALL the kits –  I can’t wait to finish mine and start adding some journaling and photos.

Heidi’s last class for the day was a very emotional one – especially for me. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house as Heidi shared with us some realities and truths in her life and some stories that hit very close to home for me. Heidi and Kim  are both wonderful teachers – full of passion and love for their craft and I’m extremely thankful to have participated in the day. Here is a few photos taken from Heidi and Kim’s instagram and a few taken by myself.

A wonderful group of ladies came over 800km from the Eyre Peninsula to participate.
